The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for an Account Services Specialist in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas (remote/home based is acceptable) .
In this role, you will be responsible for providing account services coordination and orientation for assigned client base. Additional responsibilities include offering solutions to client operations issues in regard to resources, communications, technical tools, etc. as well as providing excellent customer service and problem resolution supporting the new and existing client as needed.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, grand funded opportunity. Current funding is through 12/2023.
*Due to the current pandemic, travel is minimal and voluntary to ensure the health and safety of staff. There is no overnight travel currently. In the future, this position may resume daily/overnight travel. All staff are currently working from home.*
Essential Job Duties:
Communicate through inbound or outbound calls with key customers of assigned accounts to support AHA products or programs. Assist in creating or delivering an implementation plan, timeline and training. Coordinate and integrate new or existing clients into program orientation or onboard including introduction of users to support systems.
Assist with set-up of new client information and data requirements as requested. Provide technical solutions for clients through program or operational training, end-user problem resolution, security issues or related concerns.
Host, lead and complete Webinars supporting key goals and program status.
Complete expense reports for the staff. Review and report on monthly departmental or grant reports.
Ensure client account data is accurate. Complete customer relationship management data entry and account information updates.
Record and update program, training or communication documentation via SharePoint or related shared sites. Provide administrative support, reporting and related documentation as requested by assigned team.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of four (4) years of:
Experience in account or product sales support for healthcare systems, associations and/or government agencies
Comprehensive knowledge of AHA products, policies and procedures or similar program/products from external vendors to the AHA.
Comprehensive presentation skills, including development of presentations.
Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email or video call to provide training as needed.
Basic knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office™ products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects, meet multiple deadlines and handle several projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated advanced problem solving and use of negotiation; ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
