We are currently hiring for a Development Director in Madison . The Director will oversee our Go Red for Women and Heart of Madison campaigns, which include our signature Go Red for Women Luncheon, Heart Ball, and Hard Hats with Heart fundraising events. This position is available due to internal movement.
We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. Competitive salary with incentive potential is offered.

Prospect and secure local corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and auction items.
Recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership, volunteer committees, and day of the event volunteers. Implement a year-round cultivation plan for volunteer leadership.
Develop profiles on the top businesses within the market area with a documented plan to secure their involvement.
Execute digital experience/event logistics based on national best practices.
Work closely with a Communications Director to develop and manage a promotion/communications plan for the campaigns.
2 years of relevant experience preferred; college graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Ability to thrive in a results-driven and collaborative environment with highly effective organization, multi-tasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to recruit, train, and manage high level volunteers to accomplish established goals.
Skill in making oral presentations to large and small audiences and ability to write clear and concise narratives.
Ability to do daily travel up to 75% and overnight travel up to 5%.
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. These skills are subject to testing.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets.
