Responsibilities
The Senior Program Development and Member Manager will act as the primary point of contact for the Center for Health Technology & Innovation’s (CHTI) Innovator Network members. This senior-level role focuses on building strong, lasting relationships and driving member engagement with the American Heart Association’s mission. This role is pivotal in onboarding new members, fostering ongoing relationships, and scouting and cultivating new business relationships in close collaboration with business development expanding CHTI’s offerings and solutions to maximize member value.
In addition, the role will oversee strategic alliances, such as collaborations with AARP and will play a vital role in advancing key initiatives working with the CHTI team and Association stakeholders to drive CHTI’s impact in the health technology, deliver further membership value and cultivate new relationships. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational expertise, outstanding communication skills and a deep passion for leveraging health innovation to transform patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Onboarding and Engagement
Redesign and optimize the onboarding strategy to deliver a seamless and elevated member experience.
Lead onboard meetings with new members to introduce benefits, clarify expectations and establish ongoing communication plans.
Create and maintain onboarding materials, including email templates, press release drafts, and branding guidelines.
Schedule and facilitate -regular and ad hoc calls with members to provide updates, offer support, and identify new engagement opportunities.
Ongoing Account Management
Refine and implement strategies to deepen member relationships and enhance their overall experience.
Track member activities, ensuring timely follow-ups on requests such as research protocol reviews, funding opportunities, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) connections.
Leverage the full breadth of the Association’s resources to connect members to relevant programs and initiatives across the organization.
Oversee open invoice processes by coordinating with finance to resolve payment issues and following up on overdue accounts.
Manage member renewals, initiating conversations at least three months in advance and facilitating agreement updates or amendments.
Account Growth and Cultivation
Develop and execute strategies to nurture existing Innovator relationships, expand CHTI offerings, including science-backed licensed content and develop and cultivate new business relationships.
Collaborate with the CHTI team to promote sponsorships, exhibitor space and other value-driven opportunities.
Partnership, Event Support & Volunteer Engagement
Manage relationships with external partners such as AARP AgeTech Collaborative, The ECH Alliance HLTH Community, ensuring successful execution and mutual value.
Develop and maintain relationships with CHTI’s ecosystem of clinical and science experts and volunteers.
Collaborate with CHTI team to create agendas and run/support volunteer group meetings and engagements
Track and manage CHTI presence at industry events and take lead to establish plans, agenda, room blocks, outreach, etc.
Scientific Sessions
Working across the CHTI and other teams, coordinate all aspects of the annual Health Innovation Pavilion, including exhibitor recruitment, sponsorships and event logistics.
Develop and execute all aspects of the Health Tech Competition, managing pre, during and post activities including applications, promotions, communications with finalists, and on-site coordination.
Oversee all aspects of the Health Innovation Pavilion receptions held during Scientific Sessions
Communications and Branding
Support the creation and communications compliance review process of member announcements, press releases, and branding materials to ensure consistency and alignment.
Leverage member webinar series for Innovator Network member engagement.
Serve as backup to updating content on CHTI website.
Conduct regular branding audits to ensure compliance, addressing any necessary updates with members.
Assist in producing newsletters, social media content, and marketing materials to strengthen member engagement.
Program and Initiative Support
- Partner with internal teams to advance strategic initiatives, such as enhancing CRM systems, improving member satisfaction research, and streamlining operational processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or program coordination, preferably in healthcare or technology sectors.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project management platforms.
Passion for health innovation and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
