The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Marketing Communications Manager position in our Healthcare Business Solutions / Emergency Cardiovascular Care department supporting our National Center in Dallas, TX! This role can be home based.

Responsibilities
This individual will lead the communication needs across all of Healthcare Business Solutions (HBS) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). They will be responsible for developing and executing communication and marketing plans and programs to target audiences supporting our American Heart Association Training Network and the Professional Education Hub.
Create regular communications with the American Heart Association Training Network and Professional Education Hub customer base. Ensure new product announcements, official Training Network notifications, and appropriate science updates are communicated in a timely manner.
Lead communication in support of Training Network platforms such as Atlas, Training Central, Professional Education Hub, and eCards.
Lead internal HBS communication to inform account teams, customer service teams, and other staff on products, programs, and other initiatives.
Develop, review, and edit copy for newsletters, social media, websites, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing and sales collateral. Ensure consistency of language, look and feel.
Drive communication support, scripting, and presentation material reviews for ECC National/Regional conferences. Coordinate conference communication activities on-site.
Lead Market Research efforts related to web analytics for the Instructor Network, Instructor Community, and selected customer market initiatives.
Support Board of Director and Senior leadership content and presentations as needed.
Oversee and manage ECC Beat and ECC Newsletter to ensure quality content and timely release.
Lead the coordination of communications with appropriate American Heart Associations Masterbrand communication team members.
Establish trusted communication with senior level volunteers and anticipate needs and expectations. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Foster alliances with cross functional teams internally and externally, in both the domestic market and internationally.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related area.
Five (5) years of marketing/communications experience including high business literacy in online and social media.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Outlook, PPT, Excel.
Excellent organization and planning skills, and attention to details.
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to see projects through from initiation to finalization (takes initiative, self-starting performer.
Excellent collaboration/teamwork and customer service skills.
Ability to travel up to 10% local and overnight stay.
