The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX . This is a full-time position with funding through December 31, 2026.
The Project Coordinator provides coordination and project management to the Lifelong Learning, Professional Education Department.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain electronic database(s) of program activities. Coordinate with Program Managers, collect information and update as needed.
Coordinate meeting scheduling, provide agendas, take notes and communicate points of action.
Maintain supply stock, coordinate printings, mailings and the packing and shipping of conference materials.
Initiate purchase orders and check requisitions in our financial system (JD Edwards e1). Pay invoices/bills and submit budget transfers as needed.
Input and follow-up with contracts, statements of work, amendments, etc. in the American Heart Association Legal system.
File management utilizing SharePoint.
Other duties as assigned by the Director or other managers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of related professional experience involving administrative or project management work.
Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to be proactive.
Here are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
Four (4+) or more years of related professional experience involving administrative or project management work.
