The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Lead Entertainment Marketing, Sports Alliances in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX . This position can be home-based.
This leader is responsible for developing and driving the AHA’s nationwide sports influencer and marketing strategy through relationship development and integration into programmatic opportunities (mission impact and revenue) and key moments (brand relevance) across the organization.
Essential Job Duties:
Leads Sports specialty within Entertainment and Influencer Marketing practice, developing and implementing organization-wide strategy.
Identifies, cultivates and manages on-going, Association-wide relationships within the sports vertical (including both pro and non-pro athletes, fitness influencers and coaches) to drive Association relevancy.
Establishes and develops brand-building partnerships across the sports industry (including professional leagues, collegiate sports associations and sportswear companies) to support Association’s revenue and awareness goals.
Tracks and reports performance metrics to measure achievement and success of Sports talent at-large
Supports refinement of athlete/sports influencer vetting process to ensure appropriate alignment/fit with Association’s brand
Help establish standard methodologies across Association for sports influencer procurement and relationship management
Manage relationship between E&I marketing team and all internal sports-related requests
Collaborate with cross functional teams to discover emerging talent based on organization’s needs

Eight (8) years of the following experience:
Ability to develop and set successful strategies, garnering senior leader buy-in, strategies that deliver on project goals
Proven track record of creating and executing marketing and communications campaigns using tactics that include live events, marketing, traditional media, social media and more.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and project deadlines with the ability to pivot and problem-solve.
A strong team player who is comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Experience in public health or non-profit services
